Thermocouple Standards and Installation:

The material used for ERTA thermocouples and any adaptors are suitable for the intended application and has adequate strength to withstand the stresses of installation and use. For all ERTA thermocouples, under all conditions including operating with reduced flame, a high chrome content steel is used for the outer sheath and constantan for the inner conductor.
Universal and Super Universal Thermocouples offer easy installation into the majority of pilot burners and stove stops Universal and Super Universal Thermocouples are available with easy to use adaptors and with a brass sheet which offers extra installation from high surrounding temperatures when needed.
It will be possible to assemble each adaptor combination correctly by following the instructions. Each component will be readily identifiable to prevent incorrect assembly. Detailed installation instructions and other information considered necessary will be supplied as needed.
ERTA also specializes in manufacturing thermocouples to meet individual OEM specifications, which include variations in fittings, lengths and material types for different working environments.
Multi-purpose thermocouples, fast-on thermocouples, quick off thermocouples and special purpose thermocouples are produced according to the customer's request.
It is also possible to have the hot end coated in alluminium alloy to protect against deformation of carbon deposits.
